# Granola

The Granola connector gives the agent access to your Granola meeting notes — listing, reading, and searching AI-generated summaries and transcripts.

## What It Enables

| Tool                   | Capability | Description                                                                                                |
| ---------------------- | ---------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `list_meetings` | `read` | List recent meeting notes with title, date, and owner; supports folder and date filters |
| `get_meeting_notes` | `read` | Read the full AI-generated summary and attendee list for a meeting; optionally includes the raw transcript |
| `search_meetings`      | `read`     | Find meetings whose title or notes contain a keyword or phrase                                             |
| `list_meeting_folders` | `read` | List the folders in the workspace for use as filters |

All tools are read-only. Granola's API has no server-side search, so `search_meetings` scans a recent window locally — widen the `since` date if an older meeting is missing.

## Setup

**Required:** Granola API key. API keys require a **Business or Enterprise** Granola plan.

**Where to find it:** [Granola dashboard → Settings → API](https://granola.ai).

1. In the Notara dashboard, go to **Tools**.
2. Click the **Granola** tile.
3. In Granola, go to **Settings → API** and generate a key.
4. Paste the key into the connector field and click **Verify & Save**.

Your API key is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.

## Example Prompts

> "What meetings did I have this week in Granola?"

> "Summarize the notes from last Tuesday's product review."

> "Find any Granola meetings where we discussed the roadmap."

> "List all meetings in the Engineering folder."

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://notara.gitbook.io/notara-docs/connectors/granola.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
